Our mission
Make room for mental health, together.
Birds Meet has a simple ambition: make it easier to take the first step towards talking, understanding and finding suitable support.
Prevent · Listen · Guide
People at the centre.Technology in support.
Rooted in Morocco, Birds Meet aims to make listening and mental health resources more accessible across the Maghreb and Africa, respecting the diversity of local languages, cultures and circumstances. Our platform is available in French, Arabic and English to make the first step easier and help people find suitable support.
This vision brings together human listening by chat or audio, information resources, a community Hub and work with organizations. Each space explains its purpose and terms, so you can choose what fits your needs.
Birds Meet is a social and digital initiative run by Golf And Rocket SARL in Rabat, Morocco. Its development depends on preparing teams, providing clear information and opening services gradually.
A clear framework
Volunteer listening and guidance. This service does not replace therapy or emergency assistance.
Be heardVerifiable commitments
Qualifications, partnerships and results will only be presented as confirmed after verification.
Support Birds MeetWelcome
A website in French, Arabic and English. Conversations are planned in French, Moroccan Darija and English.
Train
An application, training and competency verification process before any listening shift.
Be transparent
Transparency about the project must never expose conversation content.
An ambition to build, step by step.
Our horizon: connecting digital spaces, places and people.
We want Birds Meet to become a network of human connection around mental well-being: a first conversation online, relationships that continue in everyday life and welcoming places to meet. Our ambition is to start in Morocco, grow across the Maghreb and then Africa, working with partners who understand each local community.
An app to stay connected
Develop a dedicated mobile app that brings resources, the community and listening opportunities within easier reach. A simple, multilingual starting point designed for everyday use.
Welcoming spaces in major cities
Imagine Birds Meet spaces for members and the public: gatherings, prevention workshops, group activities and shared moments. Our goal is a core of free access and activities, supported by sustainable funding and local partnerships.
Experiences that bring us together
Create well-being retreats, festivals, cultural gatherings and community events where people can pause, share and build connections. Inclusive experiences designed with suitable facilitators, making room for mental well-being without judgement.
An ambition to build, step by step.
01
Strengthen the foundations
Make the platform reliable, train volunteers, expand resources and understand the needs of the community.
02
Test ideas locally
Develop the app and pilot gatherings and welcoming spaces with partners, guided by available resources and what the project teaches us.
03
Grow with local communities
Expand proven formats to other cities and countries, adapting languages, teams and funding models to local circumstances.
Invest in a project that builds human connection.
We want to bring together investors, businesses, foundations and local organizations around a model that combines accessibility with long-term viability. Funding could support technology, training, free access and local pilots. Partnerships and services for organizations are among the approaches to develop to sustain this foundation over time.
Our focus: broaden access, strengthen the quality of the welcome and report on progress. We aim to track service continuity, participation, satisfaction and financial sustainability while respecting confidentiality. Impact must be built and measured; it is more than a count of sign-ups.
