Understand their professional status

Clinical psychologists, practitioners from other professions and trainee psychologists have different roles. Read the stated qualification and, for someone in training, the supervision arrangements provided.

Find a suitable format

Check the languages, session format and available times. If something is unclear, ask before booking.

Read the terms

Your first two discovery sessions are free, subject to availability. If you wish to continue, subsequent sessions are paid: agree on the fee directly with the practitioner after your discovery sessions, before booking further sessions.

Preparing for your first session

  1. Sign up or sign in to the Hub

The button takes you to the private Hub’s home page. A community account is required to view profiles and book. If you already have one, sign in.

  2. Read the profile you choose

Take time to review the profession, stated experience, languages and session arrangements. The title “coach” does not mean psychologist.

  3. Follow the booking steps

Choose an offered time and follow the Hub’s instructions. Your appointment is confirmed only once you receive the confirmation specified on that website.

What happens after the two free sessions?

Your first two discovery sessions are free, subject to availability. If you wish to continue, subsequent sessions are paid: agree on the fee directly with the practitioner after your discovery sessions, before booking further sessions.

Is this the same as anonymous listening?

The Hub extends the Birds Meet project for people seeking professional support. Chat and audio listening remain conversations with trained volunteers, without diagnosis, prescriptions or a required account. Professional sessions require a separate Hub registration.

Are the two free sessions available immediately?

They depend on practitioner availability. Visit the Hub to check the options; this page does not guarantee an immediate appointment.

Can I offer my services on the Hub?

Yes. You can introduce your professional practice through the Join us page. Your status and proposal will be reviewed before a collaboration or profile publication.

Do you mainly need someone to talk to?

Explore human listening by chat or audio, without an account, subject to service hours and capacity. Listening and Hub sessions do not replace emergency services.
